Talented producer turned entertainer Mark Ronson has just confirmed a date at The Academy Dublin on the 28 October, 2010. The Grammy award winning artist will be joined by his band, The Business International for a highly anticipated visit to the capital!  Tickets priced €28 including booking fee went on sale last Friday at 9am from the following outlets: In Person: From 100 Ticketmaster outlets nationwide / 24hr hotline: 0818 719 300 / Buy online: http://www.ticketmaster.ie  Internationally renowned as one of the world’s finest DJs; producer du jour; solo artist; band leader and label boss, Mark Ronson first hit the headlines for his work bringing Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen and Adele to pop superstardom.  Since those days creating some of the most defining sounds of the mid noughties he has gone on to carve out a very successful solo career too. 2007’s ‘Version’ album saw him create 70’s/Motown inspired covers of hits by the likes of Radiohead, Coldplay and The Smiths and saw him score three top ten hits and a BRIT award. The following year saw single ‘Valerie’ become one of the biggest selling songs in 2008, still top 100 in airplay three years later. Fast forward to today and newest singles Bang Bang Bang and The Bike Song taken from forthcoming album Record Collection are receiving great airplay.  Tickets on sale now!
