Welcome once more to the Irish Film Institute’s annual celebration of shock cinema from across the globe, a Hallowe’en weekender with bite. This year’s Horrorthon line-up offers a veritable smorgasbord of demented delights, with strong showings from Canada (Theatre Bizarre), The Netherlands (Saint), Spain (Kidnapped), Germany (Urban Explorer), Japan (Tomie: Unlimited) and Israel (Rabies), alongside the clotted cream of the U.S. and British crop, and a splattering of cult classics.

This year’s guests include genre legend Michael Biehn (the iconic star of James Cameron’s The Terminator, Aliens and The Abyss). He will present his directorial debut, The Victim (starring horror icon Queen Danielle Harris) and his latest acting vehicle The Divide. Michael will also introduce the 25th anniversary screening of Aliens.
