Lunchtime Reading at The Irish Writers’ Centre
Venue: Irish Writers’ Centre, Parnell Square North, Dublin 1 Website: www.irishwriterscentre.ie Price: FREE Date: November 25th Time: I:00-2:00 p.m.
Friday the 25th sees the last in the series of free lunchtime readings at the Irish Writers’ Centre. If you are interested in literature, or perhaps contemplating writing something yourself, you must not miss this opportunity to acquaint yourself with the centre, its wonderful staff and the regulars who frequent it.
The last reading will be delivered by Susan Connolly. At just 23 years old, Susan is the youngest writer to present in this series of lectures. This talented young woman is a fourth year Veterinary Medicine student at UCD and is also a trained musician and University debater. Her first forays into published writing were with articles for InDublin Magazine and she is currently working on novels for a children’s fantasy series. Come along to hear her read from her work-in-progress and engage in a discussion about the writing process.
