The menu at Seagrass restaurant at Portobello Bridge is mostly European with some tapas thrown in. In the search for good quality, good value eateries around the city, Seagrass scores very well. The early bird menu is available every day except Monday, ending a few hours earlier on Friday and Saturday evenings. Diners can choose between a three-course menu for €19 or a two-course option with a glass of wine for €22. The menu certainly sounds delicious and, having eaten here before, I would personally recommend it. It is also worth noting that Seagrass is one of the few Dublin restaurants where you can bring your own wine without incurring a corkage fee.

Penne, gorgonzola, spinach & mushroom
Roasted chicken, chilli, caramelized onion, sun dried tomato & spinach fricassee with shell pasta
Apple & cinnamon tart with whipped cream
Banana & chocolate tart with chocolate ice cream
