Louisa May Alcott’s much-loved classic is currently playing at the Gate theatre. Initially planned to run until January 14th, the stage play has been extended until January 28th due to popular demand. A story to warm hearts during the winter months, Anne Marie Casey’s adaptation follows the adventures of the four young sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. Guided by their mother ‘Marmee’, while their father serves in the Civil War, the girls struggle, but manage, to get through the difficult times. Little Women tells the tale of family, love, individuality, and finding a place in the world.
