Eating out in Dublin can be problematic on a student budget so it always pays to keep your eyes peeled for good value lunch and dinner deals. Or check in here and we’ll provide the service for you! At Soup Dragon on Capel Street you can find a cheap, tasty and (importantly in this country) warm lunch deal to get you through until evening. For just €3 you can order any of their small vegetarian soups along with bread and a piece of fruit to go. Not only is this unbeatable value, it’s also a healthy option as Soup Dragon pride themselves on using the very best of natural ingredients.
The veggie soup menu is creative and internationally flavoursome, including Dahl Indian lentil, roasted red pepper, tomato and goat’s cheese, and chickpea and lentil. All of the soups are gluten free and they also offer a range of vegan and low fat options. Kathy recommends the Indian spinach and potato if you like a little heat in your lunch. However, menus change frequently so keep an eye on their website. The €3 offer is available all day until closing!
