Ireland’s leading commentators on economics and politics will discuss the central theses of their new books. They will examine the current crisis, lift the lid on who was really responsible for the economic meltdown and will debate where we should go from here.
About the participants …
- David McWilliams is Ireland’s leading popular economist, and is a columnist for the Irish Independent and the Sunday Business Post. He is the author of the bestsellers The Pope’s Children, The Generation Game, and Follow the Money. – provided we open our eyes to them.
- Fintan O’Toole has been a columnist and critic with the Irish Times since 1988 and is one of Ireland’s most outspoken commentators. His previous books, Ship of Fools and Enough is Enough were bestsellers.
- Shane Ross is an independent TD for Dublin South, and columnist in the Sunday Independent. He wrote The Bankers, a number 1 bestselling title, in 2009
- Nick Webb is Business Editor of the Sunday Independent.
